FRANCIS DAVID GLENISTER

Qualifications or experience relevant to Board membership:
Formal qualifications; Natural Sciences Degree from Cambridge University plus
MBA (Master in Business Administration) from Manchester Business School.
Over 20 years experience in investment banking, where I am currently a senior manager.
My day job involves organising and managing a department of approximately 60 technically qualified people, where my responsibilities include both task management and people management.
I have a professional understanding of the commercial and financial management of companies.
I have a high degree of technical competency with computers.
I have direct experience through my current role as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Supporters Trust.

Reason for wishing to stand for election to Board membership:
Having been part of the original team that launched the Supporters Trust, I am acutely aware that the Trust remains a fledgling organisation that faces many challenges, including the fundraising necessary to secure the Trust's holding 100,000 PLC shares required to retain the Trust's representation on the Board of Directors of Wycombe Wanderers Football Club PLC. I wish to build on the progress to date and help the Trust develop the required level of stability and sustainability to play a continuing role in the life of Wycombe Wanderers, the Club's fan base and the community of which it is part.

Describe what you can bring to running the Supporters Trust and why the members should vote for you:
My formal education and work experience have given me the necessary disciplined managerial, organisational and commercial expertise to enable the Supporters Trust to develop further and establish itself firmly as a viable and effective organisation offering both membership services and large-scale fundraising. The technical capability to organise effective communications through articles, emails and a website. I have the ability to build organisational alliances, for example, with the Founders Trust. I have a high energy level for the things in which I am involved and I am passionate about Wycombe Wanderers, my hometown team that I have supported for nearly 50 years.
