KEITH BLAGBROUGH

Qualifications or experience relevant to Board membership:
My background is in Accountancy, Finance, Taxation and mainly Information Technology, with many years experience providing business solutions and managing computer service departments in the Construction and Manufacturing industries and latterly in a Senior Management role at the BBC controlling a department of 64 IT professionals.
I am a founder member of the Official Wycombe Wanderers Supporters Association, serving as the Secretary and also as Treasurer to the Association for many years.
I am a member of the Founders Trust.
I am a member of the Supporters Trust Board of Directors and also serve as Company Secretary of the Trust.
I sponsor a player and support the Club via the League Line.
Because one of the objects of the Trust is to relate to the community it serves, I represent the Football Club on Travel Plan meetings, the Safety Advisory Group and have been working with the nominated Football Club charity of the year the Iain Rennie Hospice at Home Charity.
I was privileged to be asked to be the first Director of Wycombe Wanderers Football Club nominated by the Supporters Trust and have been a member of the Football Club Board for some two and a half years.

Describe in not more than 500 words, your reasons for wishing to become a member of the board of Wycombe Wanderers Football Club PLC and why members should vote for you.
No one can doubt that the Football Club is entering a period when difficult decisions will have to be taken. These will involve the future financing of the Club and any decision on moving away from Adams Park to a new stadium. Any of these decisions must taken so that they safeguard the future of Wycombe Wanderers.
It is vital that when the Football Club Board take any decision it is in possession of all the facts, and these facts include relevant supporters' views and the effect that any decision taken will have on the supporters.
I believe passionately that the Football Club cannot survive without its supporters who they need to involve in decision making and strategic planning, and it will be essential that in planning for the future especially now, that they communicate with and carry them along.
It has been my task as the Supporters Trust Director to ensure that this happens. My background and experience with the Supporters Trust and Official Supporters Association have placed me in a unique position to do this. I am committed to continue to represent the supporters' wishes at Board level to ensure that everyone works in partnership for the future of Wycombe Wanderers.
Communication is a two way process, again by having a 'foot in both camps' I have been able to assist in this, so that explanations and information can be communicated to the Supporters Trust Board justifying the long term benefits to the Football Club of any decision, keeping them up to date with latest developments, in between our own Board meetings, I issue a briefing paper with latest news and developments at the club as they affect supporters. I keep in contact with supporters regularly, because although a Board of Directors takes strategic decisions it does not mean that the day to day problems are not important and these need immediate attention. I do this before games by spending time in the various suites and bars, this is important as is the contact with the two supporters clubs. To away matches on occasions I travel on the away coaches, indeed twice I stewarded the coach to help the supporters.
My credibility as a supporter of the Club cannot be in doubt, attending all competitive first team matches at home and only missing one away, supporting the reserve and youth teams. I am already involved with these and other matters and I would like to continue to be a part of this, building upon the foundations I have established, and continuing to work for the future of the Football Club and its supporters.
Supporting the Football Club has given me great pleasure in the past, my Directorship has enabled me to contribute and repay the Club for this.
There are challenges ahead, the most important one is to ensure that the future of Wycombe Wanderers is secure. I am already involved with facing this, and I ask for your vote to enable me to continue with it.
