Wycombe Wanderers Supporters Trust must raise a total of £100,000 to pay for its holding of 100,000 shares in Wycombe Wanderers Football Club PLC and thereby secure permanent PLC Board representation for the Trust. A first instalment of £50,000 was paid on the shareholding in February 2005 and a second instalment of £50,000 was paid in February 2006. Funding for the first instalment included a £35,000 loan from a member sympathetic to the aims of the Supporters Trust. The loan is secured against the shareholding and, hence, to own the shareholding outright the Trust must repay the loan.

As of 1st December 2006, the Supporters Trust has 270 members and has raised £75,000 towards the total needed of £100,000. £10,000 of the loan of £35,000 has been repaid.

The Supporters Trust has posted membership application forms to a large body of supporters including season ticket holders; members of WWFT; members of OWWSA and former members of WWFC Ltd. The Trust has written to all existing members encouraging them to become Life Members.
