Chris Perrin has completed his sponsored cycle ride for charity from Adams Park to Torquay.
Starting on Saturday 3rd March after the match vs Macclesfield, Chris completed the 215 mile ride in time to attend the match vs Torquay on Saturday, 10th March 2007. Photographs from the ride can be found on the link below.
Sponsorship has raised funds for the
Iain Rennie Hospice at Home (40%), the Sue Ryder Care Hospice
at Nettlebed (40%) and Wycombe Wanderers Supporters Trust (20%).
The Iain Rennie Hospice at Home is the official Wycombe Wanderers
Football Club Charity of the Year for 2007.
Chris has raised a total of £10,000 and as a result £4,000
has been paid over to each of Iain Rennie Hospice at Home and
Sue Ryder Care. Chris originally hoped to raise £5,000 and
both Chris and the causes that he supported are thrilled with
the generosity of supporters in helping him to raise the higher
total. The total includes £500 in personal donations from
the Boards of Wycombe Wanderers Supporters Trust and Wycombe Wanderers
Founders Trust, £500 from the Official Wycombe Wanderers
Supporters Association (OWWSA) and several generous individual
donations.

The photographs above show Chris presenting cheques to representative of the Iain Rennie Hospice at Home and the Sue Ryder Care Hospice at Nettlebed before the match against Shrewsbury Town on Saturday 7th April 2007.
Chris said:
I am undertook this ride in memory of my mother, who passed
away in October 2006 and who benefited greatly in her last days
from the fantastic care offered by the hospice nurses. Thank you
to all those who kindly sponsored me. I am very proud to have
completed the ride and to have raised such a sum for my good
causes.
Chris is a member of the Wycombe Wanderers
Supporters Trust and the Official Wycombe Wanderers Supporters
Association.
Rena, Chris's wife, is also a member of the Wycombe Wanderers
