The Supporters Trust offers a Life Membership Scheme.

The background to this scheme and its pricing is given below.
The Trust would like to have 100 Life Members. To date there are 98 Life Members.

The Supporters Trust has purchased 100,000 shares in Wycombe Wanderers Football Club PLC. These shares were purchased in a partly paid form, with two instalments each of £50,000 paid in February 2005 and February 2006. Of the total of £100,000, £75,000 has been raised from members and donations. A loan of £35,000 was taken out to help fund the first £50,000 instalment and repaying this loan is now the Trust's financial target. To date, £10,000 has been repaid from the loan. Only if the Trust maintains its holding of 100,000 shares is the Trust's boardroom representation guaranteed.

In the Trust's judgement, it is too early to judge whether or not the conversion of the Club to a PLC will prove to have been the best course of action. However, the Trust believes that it is important that the Club's supporters play a role in the Club's future and that the most effective way of ensuring supporter input into the Club's decisions is through direct PLC board level representation.

To give some context to the fundraising effort, it is worth noting that if 500 people (i.e. the same number as the membership of the Club prior to conversion) had joined the Supporters Trust when it was first launched in late August 2004 and had they all paid £50 per annum then the Trust's income would be £25,000 per annum. At this level of income, it would take four years to raise the £100,000. In less than two years, the Supporters Trust has already raised £75,000 in total and everyone should be pleased with this achievement.

At the Trust's Annual General Meeting in June 2005, members suggested that the Trust launch a life membership scheme. Once the target level of funding of £100,000 is reached, it will be possible for the Supporters Trust to reduce its annual membership fee to a level to cover its administrative costs. Whilst it is impossible to be certain, it is anticipated that the required level of continuing membership fee would be approximately £10 - £15 p.a..

The Trust has decided to offer lifetime membership to the existing membership according to the following scale:

Three year £150 paid	£250
Annual 2 x £60 paid	£280
Two year £110 paid	£290

We are fully aware that this is a significant sum of money and will not be possible for every member. Those who subscribe can do so confident that they are helping to ensure the long-term success of the Trust.

To date 98 members have subscribed for Life Membership and, including generous donations received from two of these Life Members, this initiative has raised over £25,000 towards the Trust's total funding.
