Wycombe Wanderers Supporters Trust has elected Keith Blagbrough as its Director on the Board of Wycombe Wanderers Football Club PLC to serve for a year starting October 2005.

Mr. Blagbrough is an existing member of the Board of Wycombe Wanderers Supporters Trust and has been serving in an interim capacity as the Trust's Director on the PLC since February 2005. Mr. Blagbrough is a long-standing supporter of the Club, who has been actively involved in supporter organisations for many years.

The Supporters Trust has purchased 100,000 shares in Wycombe Wanderers Football Club plc and this investment enables the Trust to have a representative on the board of directors of Wycombe Wanderers Football Club plc under the terms of the change of constitution of the Football Club in August 2004.

The membership of the Trust elected a new board of directors to manage the Trust prior to the AGM held at the end of June. Mr. Blagbrough's appointment follows a call for nominations for the role from amongst the Trust's elected board.

Commenting on the announcement, Francis Glenister, Chairman of Wycombe Wanderers Supporters Trust, said "I am very pleased that Keith has been elected to serve as our representative for the coming year. The role of the Trust's director is a relatively new one having only been established following the initial purchase of shares in February 2005 and this appointment represents continuity as the role evolves. At the time of Keith's original appointment as the interim director, I expressed my confidence that he would be an excellent director, who would work tirelessly to represent the views of the Trust's members whilst simultaneously looking out for the best long term interest of Wycombe Wanderers Football Club. Keith has fully justified my confidence and he is well placed to continue with the role to the benefit of the Trust's membership."

Mr. Blagbrough stated " I am very happy to accept this appointment as a Director of the Football Club. It is important that the voice of supporters remains heard in the Boardroom. I am looking forward to continuing the work started earlier in the year and hopefully to making a positive contribution to the future success of Wycombe Wanderers."
