Special General Meeting Meeting of
Wycombe Wanderers Supporters Trust

The Board of the Wycombe Wanderers Supporters Trust has called a Special General Meeting on Thursday 7th February 2008 to vote on a Special Resolution, approval of which is a necessary step in the proposed unification of Wycombe Wanderers Supporters Trust with Wycombe Wanderers Founders Trust.

Members of the Trust have been sent a letter as follows dated 12th January 2008 :

Enclosed with this letter you will find a calling notice for a Special General Meeting (SGM) of Wycombe Wanderers Supporters Trust to be held on Thursday 7th February 2008 together with important documents associated with the business of the SGM.

Subject to certain conditions, it is intended that Wycombe Wanderers Supporters Trust and Wycombe Wanderers Founders Trust should unify to form one Trust. At the SGM, members will consider a Special Resolution, which if approved, will enable this unification to occur. In order to pass, the Special Resolution must be voted on by not less than 50% of members and passed by 75% of those members voting either in person or by proxy.

Enclosed you will find a set of guidance notes on the implications of the Special Resolution. The Directors of Wycombe Wanderers Supporters Trust recommend that members approve the Special Resolution.

You will also have received notice of a separate meeting for members of both Trusts, which is to be held on 23rd January 2007. This meeting is intended to ensure that members understand the structure of the new Trust, its objectives and the unification process. The Trusts' Boards will explain these matters together with answering any questions or concerns that you may have.

In view of the requirements that must be met if the Special Resolution is to pass, it is very important that the Board of Wycombe Wanderers Supporters Trust receives guidance from members on the issues that are to be voted upon at the SGM. If you will be unable to attend the SGM on 7th February 2008 in person, you are asked to complete and return the proxy form that is enclosed. This will ensure that your views are recorded. You may use the enclosed Freepost envelope to return the proxy form.
