Wycombe Wanderers Supporters Trust

The Board of the Wycombe Wanderers Supporters Trust has called a Special General Meeting on Wednesday 27th February 2008 to vote on an Ordinary Resolution, approval of which is a necessary step in the proposed unification of Wycombe Wanderers Supporters Trust with Wycombe Wanderers Founders Trust.

Members of the Trust have been sent a letter as follows dated 8th February 2008 :

Enclosed with this letter you will find a calling notice for a Special General Meeting (SGM) of Wycombe Wanderers Supporters Trust to be held on Wednesday 27th February 2008 together with important documents associated with the business of the SGM.

As you will be aware, subject to certain conditions, it is intended that Wycombe Wanderers Supporters Trust and Wycombe Wanderers Founders Trust should unify to form one Trust. At an SGM held on Thursday 7th February 2008, members passed a Special Resolution to enable this unification to occur.

It is now necessary to hold a second SGM in order to confirm this decision via an Ordinary Resolution.

In order to pass, the Ordinary Resolution must be passed at a properly convened and quorate SGM by a simple majority of those members voting either in person or by proxy.

Enclosed you will find a set of guidance notes on the implications of the Ordinary Resolution. The Directors of Wycombe Wanderers Supporters Trust recommend that members approve the Ordinary Resolution.

It is very important that the Board of Wycombe Wanderers Supporters Trust receives guidance from members on the issues that are to be voted upon at the SGM. If you will be unable to attend the SGM on 27th February 2008 in person, you are asked to complete and return the proxy form that is enclosed. This will ensure that your views are recorded. You may use the enclosed Freepost envelope to return the proxy form.
